![]() The students desirous of getting admitted in the Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Science (RGCDS), Bangaluru are required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in optional subjects of the qualifying examination. For the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum required marks, comes down to 40% on the aggregate. The State Government selects the eligible candidates through a common entrance test every year. The College selects 15% of the Seats from N.R.I. Candidates and if seats fall vacant, those seats shall be filled up with other students by the College. Apart from the above mentioned educational qualification, the candidates are also required to be aged at least 17 years or above on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The college does not consider the applications, made by the candidates aged above 35 years. Apart from offering the BDS course, the Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Science (RGCDS), Bangaluru also conducts research programmes, with a motto of "How to find & how to solve".
