From the West Zone League Matches, Ranji Trophy, 1993-94 Bombay and Baroda teams emerged as winners.

The teams that played against each other in the West Zone League Matches of Ranji Trophy, 1993-94 included Baroda, Bombay, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Saurashtra. The tournament is well famous for being the most successful domestic cricket tournament in India and all the West Zone teams were the regular participants in the tournament. Most of the teams were representing different states from the Western region of India and they gave their best efforts for becoming one of the top two teams in the zone. The teams also tried hard for getting a promotion to the knock out level of the tournament and the zone saw only the teams like Bombay and Baroda eventually becoming successful to do so. The Bombay and Baroda teams earned total of 24 and 10 points, respectively at the end of the zonal level league matches for claiming the top spots in the zone.

The teams of Baroda and Bombay played against each other in the first of the West Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1993-94 and the match was held at Fertilisernagar from 01-04 December, 1993. The Bombay team got a very good start in the tournament, as it won the match by a wonderful margin of an innings and 118 runs. The Bombay team earned 6 points from the match and the Baroda team failed to earn any points from the match.

The second match of the West zone saw the teams of Gujarat and Maharashtra playing against each other at Vallabhnagar from 01-04 December, 1993. The winner of the match was the Maharashtra team with a very good margin of an innings and 44 runs for earning 6 points and the Gujarat team remained pointless in the match. The Maharashtra and Bombay teams played against each other in the third match of the West Zone and two teams played the match at Thane from 08-10 December, 1993. The Bombay team played very well in this match also and it clinched a victory of 9 wickets for earning 6 points from it. The Maharashtra team failed to earn any points from the match.

The fourth of the West Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1993-94 was played between the teams of Saurashtra and Baroda and the match took place at Rajkot from 08-11 December, 1993. The match saw the Baroda team winning by an innings and 28 runs for earning 6 points and it also saw the Saurashtra team remaining pointless. The Baroda team appeared in the next match of the zone also and this time, it played against the Maharashtra team at Pune from 16-19 December, 1993. The match remained drawn during the specified period of time and the Baroda team earned 2 points from it, while the Maharashtra team remained pointless in the match. The match between the teams of Saurashtra and Gujarat was also held during the same timing from 16-19 December, 1993 and the two teams played the match at Rajkot. The Gujarat team earned 2 points from the drawn match and the Saurashtra team failed to earn any points from it.

The Gujarat team appeared in the seventh of the West Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1993-94 also and this time, it played against the Bombay team at Ahmedabad from 24-27 December, 1993. The match saw the Bombay team clinching a huge victory of 10 wickets. The next match of the zone saw the teams of Maharashtra and Saurashtra playing against each other at Pune from 24-27 December, 1993. The match officials awarded the Maharashtra team 2 points from the match, as it remained drawn during the stipulated duration. However, the Saurashtra team could not earn a point from the match.

The Saurashtra team then played against the Bombay team in the next match of the zone and the match was held at Bombay from 31 December, 1993 - 03 January, 1994. The Bombay team won the match by a very good margin of 8 wickets for earning the entire point from the match. The last of the West Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1993-94 involved the teams like Baroda and Gujarat and the two teams played the match at Baroda from 31 December, 1993 - 03 January, 1994. The match remained drawn during the specified period of time and the Baroda team earned 2 points from the match, while the Gujarat team remained pointless.
