Run by the Sundari Educational Trust, Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College was founded on 27th August 1992. It is located on Manamadurai-Sivagangi Road, Udaikulam, Manamadurai. The college started functioning with the approval of Madurai Kamaraj University. Currently Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College is allied to Alagappa University, Karikudi and now it is located in an ideal place, almost seven km away from Manamadurai, on NH 49. Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College offers courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Undergraduate Courses include- B.Sc in Computer Science, B.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry, B.Sc. in Mathematics, B.Sc. in Physics, B.Com., Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), B.A. in Tamil. Postgraduate Courses include-- Masters of Computer Application(M.C.A), M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Com. A Diploma Course, D. C. A also is offered under the college curriculum.

Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College, Rajagambeeram, Manamadurai, Tamil Nadu Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College has an excellent infrastructure that is beneficial to the students. Although the college is located in a remote area, the modern facilities suffice the demands of the students. It has a library that is well stocked and updated, highly advantageous for undergraduate and post graduate students. One also can refer to its collection of about 1973 books and 3382 educative articles. The library takes subscription to magazines and journals on various subjects like- computer, general knowledge, current affairs, magazines and journals. Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College houses a fantastic air-conditioned computer science laboratory. Undergraduate students make use of all the benefits. A computer laboratory is present for the advantage of the postgraduate students.

The MCA department has its own RDBMS laboratory and Multimedia laboratory. All the current and updated softwares exist within the department. For smooth communication one can utilise the bus service from places like Madurai and Sivaganga to college. Not only in academics, students are motivated to take part wholeheartedly in all extra curricular activities. For facilitating the culture of sports and games, Ganapathi Seethai Ammal College has extensive playgrounds like volley ball court, badminton court, tennis court and so on. The college also has paved the way for enhancing cultural interests amongst the students. In order to involve themselves in various social welfare programmes, the students enroll in National Service Scheme (N.S.S). Various social service camps are organised like-- Blood donation Camp, Social awareness Camp (Aids, Eradication of illicit arrack, Female infanticide child, Women education, Eradication of child labour, awareness of health etc.), Pond Clearance, Medical Camp, Veterinary Camp, Education and child day, Environment and greenery development day, Co-Operative day and Teachers day, Job Opportunity day, Free eye Camp in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, Leadership and Personality development programme, Compulsory Medical Checkup.
