Uday Kaul has played for the Under-14 cricket team of Punjab. He is also a left-handed batsman of the Punjab cricket team. Uday Kaul started his "First-class" cricket career against Hyderabad cricket team, which was held at Mohali from December 9 to 12 in 2005. In the "List A" matches, Uday Kaul debuted against Jammu & Kashmir, which was held at Delhi on February 14 in 2006. Till then, he has played in overall eight "List A" matches.
