Mannava Sri Kanth Prasad is the wicketkeeper of Andhra Pradesh Cricket team. Prasad is also a right-handed batsman of the team. He was born on April 24th in 1975 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He has also played for Indian Cricket team. Prasad got attention when he played well for Andhra Pradesh Cricket team. After the 1997-98 tours to Pakistan, Krishnamachari Srikkanth spoke very high of his cricket talents. As Nayan Mongia was injured in the 1999 World Cup, Prasad got the chance at the international level.
Prasad debuted in the First-class matches in 1994-95. MSK Prasad debuted in the Test matches against New Zealand from October 10th to 14th in 1999, which was held at Mohali. The One Day International (ODI) match debut of MSK Prasad was against Bangladesh on May 14th in the year 1998, which was held at Mohali. MSK Prasad was interested in wicket keeping since his young ages so he did well in that area. He started his Cricket career from the state junior level cricket and then got promoted to the Ranji Trophy squad and then to the India A team. Prasad became the Captain of a 15 member Andhra Pradesh Ranji squad in the Ranji Trophy Super League recently. He got the position as the former captain Y Venugopala Rao shifted to the Maharashtra team.
