Fardeen Khan's Film Career
Fardeen entered films in 1998 with a home production, directed by father Feroz Khan titled 'Prem Aggan.' Fardeen Khan was born in India but has non-Indian accent, which clearly comes across on the big screen because he has studied abroad. Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan has worked with big banner like Boney kapoor in Khushi, Ram Gopal Verma in Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, Jungle and Bhoot.
It must be admitted that the prestigious Provogue campaign had never found a better ambassador than Fardeen Khan with his international good looks. Fardeen's grand relaunch was supposed to be his father's much hyped film Jaanasheen. But unfortunately it failed to create any ripples. There were some black marks in Fardeen's career when on May 5 2001 he was arrested on charge of possessing cocaine.
In 2001 and 2002 he appeared in several films like Hum Ho Gaye Aap Ke in the year 2001, Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega in the year 2001, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya in 2001, Kitne Door Kitne Paas in the year 2002, Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein in 2002 and Om Jai Jagadish in the year 2002. Out of these films except Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, most of them went unnoticed. But he bounced back with Khushi in 2003 for which his performance was appreciated although the film flopped. He reunited with Ram Gopal Varma in Bhoot in 2003, which was another hit. After Jaanasheen, again he proved his worth and gave a critically acclaimed performance in 'Dev' in the year 2004 where he starred with Amitabh Bachchan, Om Puri and Kareena Kapoor. In 2005 he starred in the multi-starrer comedy No Entry which was one of the year's highest grossing films. His recent 2007 release was Heyy Babyy, Just Married and Darling where in two of the films Esha Deol worked with Fardeen. The Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan also gave playback singing in his Fida and Dev in the year 2004. In 2009 he had four releases Jai Veeru, Acid Factory, Life Partner and All The Best -Fun Begins. The actor has one release in 2010 Dulha Mil Gaya.
In 1998 Indian movie actor Fardeen Khan had won the Filmfare best debut male actor award for his film Prem Aggan.
