He was born on 28th November and was born and brought up in Delhi. His grandparents are from Pakistan. He has acted in a lot of commercials including VIP, Haywards, Frenchie, Digjam and Rajnigandha and Fair and Handsome. He has also featured in a music video by Abhijit Pohankar. He has also acted in two films titled Madhubala and Bhay. Shivram Yadav directs both of the films. He got his first break in television in the extremely popular soap `Kahiin To Hoga` under Balaji Productions. If he would not have been an actor he claims that he would have been a normal human being. His favorite co-stars are Shabbir Ahluwalia and Vikas Sethi. With Amna Sharif also he shares a great chemistry both on-screen and off-screen.

The film is based on a female character named Madhubala and her best friend who helps her at every step in her life. He has lot of expectatiuons from this film and hopes it ignites the box-office. But he claims that it is the role of Sujal, which made him a household name and gave her fame and recognition. He declared in a recent interview that he wouldn`t have refused the challenge of that character even for a small role in a film. He adds that it is this character, which has made him excel in his acting skills and also as an actor. He feels elated when his fans flock around him and asks him for autograph.
