Growing to be certified as the first ISO 9001:2000 film school in this part of the world in less than a decade since its inception, the Academy was also permitted to be an international level training centre by the 125 year old City and Guilds of the United Kingdom in the year 2002.

Film Festivals of Israel, Japanese, Croatian, Norwegian and Russian films have already been organized by Asian Academy of Film in the past.
