The Ramnarain Ruia College is a part of `Shikshana Prasarka Mandali`, Pune. It was established in the year 1937. The mission of the college is to emerge as a center of higher learning and innovative research so as to meet the challenges of a global society, which they seem to have almost fulfilled.
The USP of the college:
The College has a special library for the visually challenged students, which contains books written in Braille. They have a typewriter too that converts the Braille text into English. Besides this the college also hosts an inter-collegiate fest by the name `Utsav`. The history department of the college provides consultancy services to the Mumbai Metropolitan region Heritage Conservation Society.
