Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College is a premier academic institution in South Kolkata.

Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College was established in 1964. Late Ranadeb Chaudhuri took initiation to establish the college and he along with active co-operation of some eminent educationist and persons of public spirit, formed the first Governing body of this College. Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College is located at 30, Prince Anwar Shah Road, Kolkata-700033. Two commodious building on the same location were acquired to house the college. The buildings were remodeled to suit the purposes of a modern college with all possible amenities for students and teachers. The college started functioning from June 1965 as a co-educational institution. The objective of this college is to provide higher education to the people coming from the poorer background of the society and the college still works for this mission.

Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College, Kolkata The Jogesh Chandra College in its present form offers Honours courses in Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Education, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Philosophy and Accountancy at the under-graduate classes. The college also offers Geography, Botany, Zoology, Physiology and Sociology in the General classes. The college distinctly holds M.Sc. classes in Chemistry and Physics with affiliation to the Madurai Kamraj University.

In Jogesh Chandra College, there are two separate companies of National Cadet Corps (NCC) for boys and girls.
