| Gautam Bhimani is a commentator with ESPN-STAR Sports and adds that much needed dash of humour to serious cricket discussions. Gautam has done his Bachelor`s in Mass Comm from Missourie State University, U.S.A. He started his professional career in media as a copywriter in JWT- J. Walter Thomson, where he worked for six years. A quiz freak, he took part in the prestigious all-India Brand Equity Quiz and came third. He won a trip to Singapore where he visited prominent personalities from ESPN STAR SPORTS and that is how is association with the sports channel began. Raymond Hume, ESPN-Star Cricket Director offered his job with the channel despite him never being onTV before. He started working as a backroom researcher for Harsha Online. And then when India toured Zimbabwe in 2001, he got his first chance to come in front of the television camera. His light-hearted style of reporting brought a different kind of freshness to the commentary box. Gautam was always seen having a gala time at beach sides or even challenging the great Wasim Akram for a game of cricket.
