The very popular musical show, Titan Antakshari had made a comeback with a brand new avtaar. The show was previously called Sansui Antakshari. During that time Pallavi Joshi and Annu Kapoor hosted the show. In the new session this well accepted show was anchored by Sunil Pal. He made the show unique with his dash of homour and tickled the funny bone of the audience thus making them burst into laughter on every pun of his. Another young and hugely talented singer Himani Kapoor made her appearance on the show to give a musical touch. Other celebrities from the musical world made their appearance on the show to add to the glamour of the show. Soon after the first season Sunil Pal was replaced as the host by Karan Oberoi who catapulted to fame with the pop-band `Band of Boys` in a sudden twist of events. Sunil Pal had however maintained a calm front and declared that he was basically a stand-up comedian and the format changes of the show would require him to give much more time which was resulting in his losing plum opportunities for his stage shows. So he decided to quit. The new host Karan Oberoi however gladly accepted the offer and said that the show is a huge responsibility on him. He also declared in a recent interview that he had a great time shooting for the first episode of the second season with the `Little Champions`. At the present the show is running in its third season and at present they are having the `Intercollegiate Championship`.

The whole show Titan Antakshari was designed keeping in mind both the elements of cricket and music, which was somehow attached to the World Cup. The participants of the show are in fact the players whose team offers competition to the other teams. The set was regarded as the cricket field and the musical rounds were regarded as the innings. The length of this musical show extended to a span of 13 weeks. The whole show was titled as `Elaan-E-Jung` and the battle took place between the three leading ladies of Zee Television such as Saloni, Bani and Vidya. The name of the usual teams Deewane, Parwane and Mastane were renamed as Saloni Ke Deewane, Bani Ke Parwane and Vidya Ke Mastane. In the 13 weeks each and every episode was a continuing battle among these three teams. The winner team was crowned as Titan Antakshari-the World Champions. The show is created and directed by Gajendra Singh and is expected by its fans to rise to great heights. Here is wishing the show and the participants all the best.
