This is a disease of lumbar vertebrae and it attacks the women in general. About 90 Percent of backache patients suffer from what is ailed cervical or lumber spondylosis. It is a degenerative disorder in which the vertebral bone or the inter-vertebral disc becomes soft and loses shape. As a result of this, the spine loses its flexibility. In case of lumbar spondylosis, there is a tingling sensation in the legs, which can be detected in the X-ray.
Symptoms of Lumbar Spondylosis:
Pain and heaviness in back, legs and foot
Stress at the above mentioned parts of the body
Causes of Lumbar Spondylosis:
Five vertebrae are present in human lumbar region. Like cervical vertebrae these also have a specific gap between them. Due to ageing, injury in back, suddenly falling down or wearing of bones the gap between these vertebrae become abnormal. Consequently the nerves passing through these get pressurized. This pressure produces the above mentioned symptoms of Lumbar Spondylosis.
