Kudumari Waterfall is a splendid waterfall located in the Udupi District of Karnataka. The waterfall is also known as ‘Chaktikal Falls’ as it is located in the deep forest of Western Ghats near Chaktikal village. The water falls from a height of 300 feet through a single step. The waterfall looks elegant from the distance among the greenery.

Mangalore Airport is the nearest airport and Kundapura is the nearest railway station to reach Kudumari Waterfall. Kudumari Waterfall is located at a distance of 95 kms from Udupi. Tourists can hire taxi or bus to reach Chaktikal village. After reaching the village, one has to trek for about 3 kms from Chaktikal through dense forest. The trek route is considered to be very dangerous and not usually recommended for regular. Winter is the best time to trek this place.
