Shri Datha Teerth located at Gujarat is a Jain pilgrimage centre. The teerth kshetra is situated at a distance of one mile from Datha road. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shantinath, Sixteenth Jain Tirthankara. It belongs to the Palitana group of five teerths.

The temple of Shri Datha Teerth houses the idol of Lord Shantinath. The temple has been magnificently decorated with intricate artistic designs. The creative temple work boast about the skills of the craftsmen. Attractive paintings of great men are depicted on the walls of the temple. When the idol was discovered the local Sangha got constructed this splendid temple and ceremoniously got installed the idol of Shri Shantinath in 1905 of the Vikram Samvat Era. The idol of the lord reigns in the peak-temple here and is seated in a padmasana posture. The idol has been beautifully carved from a single stone and looks very appealing. The smiling face of the Lord looks very calm and serene. Apart from this there are fourteen other beautiful images made of stone and eight idols made of metal installed in the temple. Here are also installed fourteen other beautiful images of stone and eight idols of metal. An inscription of V.S. is 1892 can be seen on the idol of Shantinath. The exquisite glass work enhances the beauty of the temple. It looks stunning and is worth visiting.
The Temple of Shri Datha Teerth organises many annual gatherings and functions. There are provisions for dharamshalas or rest houses for the pilgrims. These are well equipped with all modern facilities. Apart from this there are Upashrays, an Ayambilshala and a Jnanabhandar. The temple is enclosed by scenic beauty that mesmerises and fascinates the pilgrims. The calm and tranquil environment and the surrounding greenery make it a suitable place for religious activities. The kshetra is well connected to road, rail and air. Taxi services and bus services are easily available here. The nearest bus stop is located at Datha at a distance of 5 kilometres. The nearest railway station and airport are situated at Bhavnagar at a distance of 75 kilometres. Datha is on the road leading to Mahuva from Talaja.
