The tatra sabda artha jnana vikalpaih sahkirna savitarka samapattih sutra states about the various kinds of associative relations between the sadhaka`s partially or totally purified attention and some other person or force. It can be a person or force residing in his psyche or one that is external to it. When that relation happens with the analytical organ being operative, then it can be called deliberate association.
