Mundota Fort and Palace
A fine example of the Rajput magnificence, the Mundota Fort and Palace is located atop a hill in the Aravalli Range.

Located to the north west of Jaipurin the state of Rajasthan, the Mundota Fort was constructed in the 14th century by the Naruka Rajputs but was later won by the Nathawat Rajputs. The Palace was built at the foothills in the late 15th century by Jaswant Singh, an illustrious descendent of the Nathawat clan, who is known to be the contemporary of Mughal Emperor Akbar. And the Mundota estate was a double Tazimi Jagir of the Nathawat clan of the Kachwaha dynasty.
