Some of their representative plays, particularly of Veeresha Lingam Pantulu were translated into Kannada Language by Nanjangud Srikanta Sastri. He translated about twenty plays from Telugu language. Prominent among them are Bala Bharya Vriddha Bhartr Prahasana, Mahabadhira Prahasana, Moodha Bharya Chatura Bhartr Prahasana and Vismaya Yivaha. Kandade Krishna lyengar's rendering of Kanya Sulka has been popular on the stage in Mysore. Jayarayacharya also rendered Mahabadhira Prahasana into Kannada. Benagal Ramarao and V. B. Ishwararao translated Kalahapriya Prahasana and Tishya Rakshata respectively. With its grand conception and brilliant exposition, the play Bhadrachala Ramadas written by D. Gopalacharlu became highly popular when staged by the Amateur Dramatic Association of Bengaluruwith Pandit Taranath and T. Raghavachari in leading roles.
