In this soap she plays the spoilt and pampered daughter of the boss of (played by Sandeep Rajoria). She claims that it is an extremely different role and she was very much excited about her new portrayal. Tarana is a modern young woman who calls the shots in her father`s office. She also played the role of Purnima, the elder sister of the female protagonist Pooja in Sony`s very popular show `Yeh Meri Life Hai`. But soon Sony replaced her in that show because of her extended European holiday.

She was very disappointed about the whole incident, as she has devoted one and a half years of her life to that show. Sheetal Thakkar was also seen playing one of the three sisters in `Rishton Ki Dor`. She was extremely happy to be a part of that show which is based on a popular South American tele-novella `Three Sisters`. But the Indianised version has been brought quite well in this show. She claimed that it was a complete family drama between three sisters and one brother and the serial has Sheetal playing the simple and strong-headed elder sibling.

Sheetal Thakkar proudly claims that there are some offers in the pipeline but now she wants to be real choosy in the matter of roles. Sitting idle is also not her cup of tea so her fans can expect to see her in whole new `avtaar` in some new show. She claims that her new shows will be full of action and the audiences will be delighted to find their darling actress in such a different role.
