The extremely handsome and charming actor Rohit Bakshi has wooed the small screen audiences by his character portrayal of Piyush in the extremely popular soap `Kahiin To Hoga`. He plays a decent gentleman in that serial who respects Kashish (played by Amna Sharif) to the core and is also her best friend. Rohit has been an integral part of the Balaji camp and says he simply loves the experience. He also appeared in another Balaji TRP raker `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` as the son-in-law of the main protagonist Tulsi Virani (played by Rohit Bakshi). But unfortunately in both the soaps his character got bumped off mid-way inspite of the actor doing full justice to the role. With his dashing personality and striking looks he has always captured the heart of the television viewers.

For sometime Rohit Bakshi was also seen playing the role of Sanjay in the Star Plus afternoon daily `Kumkum`. He claims that it was great fun to play a white character again after he essayed the negative role in `Kajjal` which is broadcasted on Sony Television. In the former he plays a simple person, who is an engineer by profession and falls in love with Krishna who is actually Kumkum. With the backdrop of the rural areas he liked the role even more. According to him it has added a fresh lease of life in his character. He also feels great about sharing on-screen space with the popular actress Juhi Parmar after they had created waves in another soap titled `Choodiyan`. He has also been in regular touch with Juhi off-screen and has always applauded her work. He claims that he also enjoys doing cameos, as they are great fun and lasts only for a short period. As an actor also he feels that cameos are quite convenient. Apart from `Kumkum` he is also shooting for C.I.D. He also remarks that he has not started shooting in the serial `Kajjal` in the post leap period but is believed to make a comeback as he had been told that he will remain a part of the story track post-incarnation.

This gifted actor also has dreams of making an entry into the Bollywood Film Industry very soon. This is the only reason as to why he is shooting for cameos in the recent times and is keeping himself for any Bollywood venture that might spruce up at any moment. The cameos also give him enough scope to meet producers and different people.
