Neha Marda, the budding actress who is as fresh as the morning glory shot to fame with the popular soap `Saath Rahega Always`. She is a Kolkattan by birth and then shifted to the tinsel town to pursue her passion. Very few people know that she is an accomplished singer and dancer and from a very tender age had the dream to touch the stars.

Sometime back she appeared in a talent hunt where Ravi Behl asked her to try her luck in acting. Soon after she had sent her dialogue CD to the producers of the show. From there she got to know that they were doing a serial and they called her to Mumbai for the auditions. She also claims that her dancing talent will be a big plus point in her career. Madhuri Dixit and Sudha Chandran top the list of her inspirations.

Neha Marda made her television debut with the serial `Saath Rahega Always`, which is broadcasted on Star one channel. This serial features her as Peehu Bhargava who is a bubbly and accommodating girl barely out of her teens. The whole story is based on the life of three friends Peehu, Krish and Soham who are studying in the 2nd year of Degree College. Their favorite hangout in the college is the `table no. 7` in the canteen area. The pretty actress claims that she can completely relate to the character and can identify the situations, the joys and disappointments that a college student experiences. Her character in this serial is a focused and determined sort of girl who at the same time is very bubbly and lively just like her. She also remarked that she had a great time working in this serial, as it was great fun to work with the same age group people. She is also happy that she is not a part of any `saans-bahu` flick.

Hailing from a very conservative Marwadi family it has not been too difficult on her part to convince her parents to pursue this profession. She remarked in an interview that none had a problem when she joined this profession. But she has to stay within limits, which means no over-exposing. She asserts that she is the youngest one in the family and the only girl born in the family after 36 years. Her brothers are also very protective about her. Living alone in the city if Mumbai has not been too tough for her as her mother has been with her throughout. Besides that her unit members have become like a family. This young and talented actress also plans to launch her own music album one day. About her entry in the glam world she claims, "I always wanted name, fame and glory". Her fans wishes that she will go a long way in the years to come and make a mark for herself in the Indian Film and Television Industry.
