Mehraj Din Wadoo, Indian Hockey Player
Mehraj Din Wadoo is an Indian Football player who presently plays for the Indian National Team.

Mehraj Din Wadoo was born on 12 February 1984 in Pulwama District, Jammu and Kashmir. He did his schooling from GP Mission School Rainawari and later continued in Sri Pratap High School Srinagar. He did his BA IInd year from Amar Singh College. He took up football at a very early age.

He is a Kashmiri Indian football player from the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mehrajuddin began as a striker but then shifted to the defence. He now plays in the position of Midfield. Mehraj Din Wadoo has played for the clubs like J&K Police, ITI, Mohun Bagan, Club de Goa, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Sc and Jammu and Kashmir Police Srinagar. For the season of from 2004 to 2007 Mehraj Din Wadoo played for Mohun Bagan, 2003- 2004 played for SCDG, 2002-2003 played for the HAL SC and 2001-2002 for the J&K police. He is currently playing for the Indian National Team. In the club level he plays for East Bengal.

The most memorable moment of his career was when he scored a winning goal against Bangladesh in SAFF Cup Finals at Karachi in Dec 2005. He was a member of the Indian squad that won Nehru Cup 2007 and AFC Challenge Cup 2008 and the Nehru Cup 2009. He has been nicknamed `the tank` for his prowess and commendable performances.
