Mahesh GawliMahesh Gawli was born on 23rd January 1980 in Goa. He has also played for Tata Football Academy, FC Kochin - Kochi, Churchill Brothers SC - Goa, East Bengal Club 2003/04. He is playing in the position of the Defender.

In his 3 years at the Mumbai club, Mahesh Gawli became a star where he won the `Best Defender` Award for a record of 3 consecutive years. Mahesh Gawli is a former Mahendra united player and has now joined Dempo. While he was asked about his former club, he said: "I don`t have soft corners for anyone. Now I am a Dempo player and so, have to give my 100% to them. Mahindra is my past and all I know is that presently, I`m a Dempo player".
