Ethnic Kurta Pajamas, hit the headlines as the Indian youth`s hot favorite for ceremonies.

Kurta , a loose collarless shirt , is favoured, not only by the men of India, irrespective of age, caste and creed, but is tried out by the modern, fashionable women also. Its immense popularity is certainly attributed to the comfortable feeling it gives to the wearer.

Frequently, it comes in elaborate embroidery, to provide a gorgeous get-up. The traditional shades are white, crème or beige, but at present a lot of experimentation is visible in colour, design and cut. Infact, the impressive innovation, is making this traditional attire, available in variety. Kurtas, now-a-days are used both as casual wear, or as formal attire, depending on the pattern of the Kurta.

A kurta, is in commonly worn with a lower garment, called Pajamas. The latter, is an Indian kind of loose trousers, drawn tight by a string around the waist. It stretches from the waist to the ankle. Pajamas, have, diverse cuts and styles.

Kurta-Pajamas A total outfit of Kurta-pajama, has often an additional embellishment of a decorated jacket, or a waistcoat, along with a dupatta, a cloth piece , draped around the neck in a cross-style.

Accompanying Kurtas with jeans, or formal trousers, too, is modern-day`s latest fashion statement.

Girls flaunt themselves in resplendent Kurtas, and often in Pajamas, as the coziness, it is endowed it is suitable for a tropical country , like India.

In Bihar, in Bengal, in Jaipur, in Madhya Pradesh and almost in the whole of India, wearing Kurta-Pajamas is very much in vogue.

Kurta Pajamas, encompass the rural and the urban population of India, as a traditional yet trendy costume .
