She is the daughter of noted stage personality Late Shri Girish Desai. She is married to Imtiaz Khan the actor and director of the Hindi film & television scene. He is the son of renowned Hindi film actor of the yester years, Jayant and the brother of the late actor
Amjad Khan.
Career of Krutika Desai
Krutika worked in several chartbusters of the small screen including `Hungama`, `Kismet`, `Zameen Aasman`, `Superhit Muqabla`, `Chandrakanta`, `Mansi`, `Buniyaad` and `A Mouthful of Sky`. Krutika Desai was very much appreciated in the serial named ` Chandrakanta ` which was based on a daringly different subject. Krutika has also worked in a Hebrew film titled `Turn Left at the End of the World.` She won rave reviews for her commendable performance in the movie. Krutika has earned name and fame in theatres also. She has acted in many Gujrati plays like `Shodh Pratishodh`, `Pallavi Bani Parvati` and `To Karo Shree Ganesh.` She did a theatre workshop `Akansha` for the street children.
