Joseph Phillips was an eminent Indian field hockey player and an ex-Olympian.

Joseph "Joe" Phillips was born on March 24, 1911 and was a pune based player.

The Indian team which has participated in the Olympic held at Berlin and won the gold medal, he was a member of the Indian field hockey team.. He died on 1986.
