Districts of Rajasthan
Different districts of Rajasthan thrive on agriculture. There are almost thirty states in Rajasthan that celebrate many beautiful festivals.

 Districts of RajasthanRajasthan is a beautiful state, which is known for its colourful festivals and fairs, traditional handicrafts, gems and jewellery, textiles and embroidery and leather and marble processing. It is also known as the land of desert and palaces. The Aravalli Mountain ranges stretching from northeast to southwest surround the state. This state has large deposits of non-metallic and metallic minerals and ornamental stones like marble, sandstone, Kota stone, Jodhpur stone, Dhaulpur stone, Karoli stone, slate, and granite. Rajasthan has thirty-two districts. The main occupation in majority of the districts is agriculture although the districts are developing industrially.

Barmer District
Barmer District, a part of the Great Indian Desert, is a district of Rajasthan.

Sawai Madhopur District
Sawai Madhopur District is an administrative district and an important tourist destination in the state of Rajasthan. About 180 kms to north-east of Jaipur, along the rolling hills of Vindhyas and Aravali ranges lies the town of Sawai Madhopur, which is the district headquarter.

Bundi District
The Bundi District is famous for monuments and forts. It lies in the state of Rajasthan.

Ajmer District
The Ajmer district is located at the center of Rajasthan and is an important tourist destination.

Jodhpur District
The city of Jodhpur located amidst sand dunes and thorny vegetation is the pride of Rajasthan.

Baran District
Baran district is located in the state of Rajasthan. It experiences the second highest rainfall in the state after the Banswara district.

Jalore District
Jalore District is one of the important districts of Rajasthan. It is known for its several granite mines and a lot of mythological incidents are associated with Jalore District also.

Bikaner District
Bikaner district is located in the state of Rajasthan. It is well known for one of the finest schools of miniature paintings that developed here in the state.

Rajsamand District
Rajsamand district is located in the state of Rajasthan. It has a long and rich history and is well known for its marble industry, being the highest producer in the district.

Sirohi District
Sirohi District is situated in the state of Rajasthan. It has a rich culture that includes many traditional song and dance forms.

Hanumangarh District
It comprises of seven tehsils like Hanumangarh, Sangaria, Pilibanga, Rawatsar, Nohar, Bhadra and Tibbi.

Jaisalmer District
Situated at the heart of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer district is an important tourist destination.

Dholpur District
Dholpur district of Rajasthan is well known for its red sandstone.

Alwar District
Alwar district in Rajasthan is an important historical center and is also famous for the monuments that it houses.

Bharatpur District
Bharatpur District has a rich history and in present day it is considered as the Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan.

Dausa District
Dausa District is situated in Rajasthan. The district is named after a hill called Devgiri.

Churu District
Churu district is located centrally in the north eastern part of the state of Rajasthan. It is well known for its beautiful havelis which are prime tourist attractions in the district.

Banswara District
Banswara District is located in the state of Rajasthan along the Southern part of the state. The district is primarily inhabited by tribals such as Bhils, Bhil Meenas, Damor, Charpotas, Ninamas etc.

Sikar District
Sikar District is situated in the state of Rajasthan. There are a number of ancient temples located here which are the prime tourist attractions of the district.

Tonk District
Tonk District is located in the north-eastern part of the state of Rajasthan. The district was a stronghold of the Nawabs, and was able to maintain an isolated status in Rajasthan due to its secular nature.

The Jhalawar district is famous for the production of oranges which are also exported to various other countries.

Gajsinghpur District
Gajsinghpur is a city in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan in 9507 inhabitants.

Jhunjhunu District
Jhunjhunu is located in the north of Jaipur, Rajasthan and is a popular tourist destination.

Bhilwara District
Bhilwara District is located in the state of Rajasthan, about 260 Kms away from Jaipur. Though mainly agricultural, the district of Bhilwara has managed to make rapid advancements in industry as well, especially in the field of textiles.

Pali District
Pali District is located in the state of Rajasthan. The district is famous for its textile industries.

Nagaur District
Nagaur District is the fifth largest district in the state of Rajasthan. It has a long history, dating back to the era of the Mahabharata. Nagaur is renowned for the Makarana marble found here.

Ganganagar District
Ganganagar District is situated in the northernmost part of the state of Rajasthan. The India-Pakistan international border is situated along the western tip of the city.

Kota District
Kota District is one of the most industrially developed districts in the state of Rajasthan. The fort situated here is a popular place of tourism in all of Rajasthan.

Udaipur District
Udaipur district is situated in the state of Rajasthan. The region has a generally hilly terrain. The Jaisamand Lake located here is a man-made lake created in the 17th century.
