Vipul Gupta is not an unknown face on the small screen anymore. He has achieved instant fame and recognition by essaying the role of Adi in the much popular soap `India Calling`. This extremely talented actor with striking looks and dashing persona has a huge woman fan following.

This popular actor was born on 17th September and hails from the capital of the Indian subcontinent. It was not his long cherished dream of becoming an actor. Acting happened to him by sheer chance and coincidence. After completing his MBA he was working in a multinational company and simultaneously was making his mark in the profession of modeling. He was quite a known model in Delhi. Soon after he felt like giving acting a shot and things worked out for him pretty well. When he shifted to the `city of dreams` from Delhi, he did not have to struggle much as he bagged two prestigious ad campaigns for Pears Soap and Lakme after appearing for the auditions. Gradually he started getting other commercial projects too and also carried on with his preparations to suit himself in the image of an actor like working on acting skills, grooming himself, working out regularly and getting a good portfolio done.

Soon after Vipul Gupta bagged the role of Drone in the popular Balaji thriller `K Street Palli Hill`. In it he was playing one of the main characters, the son of Debu and Arindam and the first love of Smriti. Later on however he got married to Vikram`s daughter Dweep. Unfortunately the audiences could not see much of him in this serial and had to leave the soap due to prior commitments and the offer of two lucrative roles in movies. Very soon he surprised the audiences by appearing in the lead role of another soap `India Calling` where he plays the owner of the call center named India Calling. He was extremely excited about the role when he was offered to portray it.

The package of everything, from script director to the production house, from the character to the channel made him instantly to become a part of this project. In another serial called `4` he plays the character of Rakesh Sharma who nurtures the dream of becoming a singer but his parents want him to be a doctor. He is also shown as a very obedient son and lets his parents know that he won`t shatter their dreams and would surely become a doctor. He has already made his mark on the silver screen.

In the movie `Anjaan` he is playing a quite mature and sensible guy who does not speak much and has witnessed both success and failure in life. He is also doing another film with Red Ice Films titled `Saturday Night` and he is casted opposite Neha Dubey. This extremely talented actor is open to working both in films and soaps and is open to anything good that comes his way. He also did a cameo in the film `Lakshya` starring the Bollywood super-hero Hrithik Roshan.

In real life however Vipul Gupta is a person who enjoys life to the fullest and respects and cares for people who wishes good for him. His favorite color is black. The destination he would love to go again and again is South Africa because he is in love with that place. His favorite hobby is playing cricket. He is still single and his female fans hope that he won`t break their hearts soon. He is however open to both love and arranged marriages. He does not have any role model in life.

The good qualities of different people inspire him. He appreciates a top-notch celebrity like Aamir Khan for his dedication and his parents for his values. He also admires a petty rickshaw puller for his zest for life inspite of putting up with hard labour the whole day. He also has supreme faith in astrology but is not overtly superstitious. He believes in the mantra to `work hard and party harder`. He believes that life is a growing process and that he has to learn a lot from life in terms of every aspect. His fans also expect to see him a lot more in some more performance-oriented roles in future.
