| Vikas Sethi aka Abeer
| |
| Vikas Sethi is another popular face in the Indian television circuit. This extremely talented actor has established himself in the blend of both positive and negative shades in some of the popular Balaji soaps like `Kasauti Zindagii Ki`, `Kahiin To Hoga`, `Kyon Hota Hai Pyar`, `K Street palli Hill` and `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi`. Within a very short span this actor has scaled to the top of the charts in being one of the most consistent actors. In real life he is a very reserved character. He is married to a sweet female called Amita who is an airhostess. In a recent interview she claimed that his dream date would be with Julia Roberts. He is very passionate about films and likes to watch films as and when he gets time. He is also interested in the game of cricket and loves to play the game every Sunday with his friends.
Vikas Sethi first catapulted to fame with the negative character portrayal in the daily `Kahiin To Hoga` in the character of Swayam who is the son of Chetan Grewal and Reva Shergill and made the life of his near and dear ones a complete hell. He made a late entry into this soap but he was believed to steal the thunder out of the role of the main protagonist by his powerhouse performances. He is also remembered for his role in another romantic drama `Kyun Hota Hai Pyar`. In the famous K-series soap `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` also he made his appearance as a negative character of Abeer who flirts with the emotions of two girls Bhoomi and Sawari. He acted that he was head over heels in love with Bhoomi but ultimately he ditched her on the day of the marriage by not arriving at the proper time. Ultimately he gets married to Bhoomi`s cousin sister Archita Virani. In another K-series soap ` K Street Palli Hill` he plays the character of Drone who is the son of Arindam and Debo. He has made his film debut with a brief role in the film `Oops` which did not fair too well in the box-office. But this actor is very much optimistic about his future and claimed in a recent interview that he is still waiting for good roles to come his way and he does not want to be casted in any of the b-grade films just for the sake of acting in movies. His dream role would be that of Shah Rukh Khan in the charbuster `Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge`. He is also confident that Bollywood would treat him better now as he is more recognized now. He would love to try in films, as he believes that is an ultimate high for any actor in India. Vikas Sethi claims that he would give up his best to his fans in the coming years with much more meaningful and splendid performances.
