Vikas Bhalla is an Indian television actor born on October 24, 1973. He did his schooling from Bombay Scottish School and after that he did his B.Com from Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai. He has also received training in Hindustani classical music under Pandit Jialal Vasant at the age of 11 to 12 and later under Guru Iqbal Gill.

Career of Vikas Bhalla
Vikas Bhalla debuted in the film industry with the movie `Sauda` (1995) opposite actress Neelam Kothari. The movie failed to do well at the box office. Soon he met the renowned director Sudhakar Bhosle and went on to star for his first film `Sauda` which had a powerful star cast including Kajol, Ayesha Jhulka, Manisha Koirala and Neelam. He also appeared in other many other movies but they did not fare well at the box office. He later shifted to doing supporting roles. He moved into television with `Apne Paraye` with Rajesh Khanna, and next he acted in the serial `Shanno Ki Shaadi` opposite Divya Dutta. The popular actor has also made a mark in the hearts of the small screen audiences by his character portrayal of Aryan in the famous soap ` Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan` by Aruna Irani. Simultaneously he also appeared in the very popular soap `Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin` in Sony TV Channel Aruna Irani and in `Karishma The Miracle of Destiny.`

Apart from acting in serials Vikas Bhalla had a flair for singing. He pursued a singing career, and released albums like, Awaara, Dhuan, "Mehak Teri" and Saajish, and also sang two songs for film Marigold (2007), with music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Recently Vikas Bhalla seen in a movie called `Pyar Mein Twist` starring Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. He even wooed the audience by his role in a Hindi-Punjabi bilingual titled `Chudiyan` paired opposite Gracy Singh. His fans also saw him in his recently released solo music album titled `Sajna`.

On a personal note Vikas Bhalla is married to Punita, who is the daughter of actor, Prem Chopra. The couple has two children.
