In her personal life also Poonam Narula is a very happy and contented individual. She has tied the knot with another popular actor of the small screen, Manish Goel. Her mother-in-law was a great fan of her since the days of her serial `Ashirwad`. She was the one to send a marriage proposal to Poonam`s mother.

As Poonam`s mother already knew Manish it did not take time for her to accept him as her son-in-law. She got married to him on 21st October, 2002 and since then has been living happily with her spouse. She claims that it has been a boon to get a partner in the same profession as they discuss their roles and give suggestions to each other on how to improve and excel in their career.
