She was last seen in fiction TV as Anandita Ahuja in Sony TV`s soap opera "Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane", opposite Ram Kapoor. Currently, the actress is seen hosting her own cooking programme titled "Bacha Party" and "ABC" (All `Bout Cooking) on Zee Khana Khazana channel.

Gurdeep Kohli was born on January 30, 1980. Born in a Sikh family, she is of Punjabi descent. She started her career as a model, acting in many ad commercials on Indian television, endorsing for prominent brands that include Cadbury, Ponds, ICICI Bank, Bazee.com, Ariel and Nestle. She also featured in the music video of Pankaj Udhas titled "Mujhse Dosti Karoge" and in Falguni Pathak"s music video "Haire Mere Hui Gulabi". It was until STAR TV"s popular medical drama "Sanjivani - A Medical Boon", where she made her breakthrough portraying Dr. Juhi Singh, one of the protagonist characters.

Later, she appeared in Zee TV"s "Kasamh Se", as Pronita Mitra, who later turns out to be Bani Jai Walia. She also worked in Disney Channel"s sitcom "Best Of Luck Nikki", as Hemani Singh. She also appeared as Gitanjali in STAR Plus" soap opera "Bhabhi" and as Inspector Meenakshi Dixit in the channel"s action crime fiction series "Arjun". She also played the main antagonist Maya/Baiji in STAR Plus` long running show "Diya Aur Baati Hum" and also made an appearance in Sony TV"s courtroom drama "Adaalat".
