Deori is a census town in Bilaspur district of the state of Chhattisgarh.

Deori is a town in Bilaspur district in the state of Chhattisgarh. Deori is located between 21.45° North latitude and 82.62° East longitude. It is located at an height of 247 metres (810 feet) above mean sea level.

According to the 2001 census report, Deori had a population of 11,636 inhabitants. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48% of the population and 16% of the population is less than six years of age. Deori has an average literacy rate of 62% which is higher than the national average literacy rate which is 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 72% while the female literacy rate is 52%.
