Ashlesha Sawant is a budding actress in the television industry who is credited with acting in many serials.
 
 Ashlesha Sawant aka TaraAshlesha Sawant is a television actress who has acted in many small screen serials. She is a Mumbai based and Pune bred girl who is the daughter of an Air Force officer. While in college she went for an audition for the Balaji serial `Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat.`

Ashlesha Sawant essayed the role of Teesha in the popular Balaji serial `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.` She had also made a brief appearance in the role of Molly in another famous soap under Balaji Productions titled `Kahiin To Hoga.` Following that she also appeared in `Zameen Se Aasman Tak` for the Sahara Channel. In the recent past she portrayed the character of Tara, elder daughter in law in the hit Zee television serial `Saat Phere.`
