. Dhanraj Ballal Hockey Academy was established in 2001 and is being run and managed by the legendary Indian Hockey players like, Padmashri Dhanraj Pillay and Arjuna Awardee Ashish Kumar Ballal
. The main objective of the players behind establishing Dhanraj Ballal Hockey Academy is to pass on their huge experience to the younger generation and also to attract them to take up the game of Hockey. Dhanraj Ballal Hockey Academy is working hard for training and coaching players at the grass root level and it also provides stipend to the talented players, who represent to the nation.
Jai Bharat Hockey Academy, Delhi
Jai Bharat Hockey Academy was inaugurated on 22nd May 2011 by former President of the Indian Hockey Federation
, Mr.K.P.S.Gill, with an aim to provide the best training to the young players of India. Jai Bharat Hockey Academy is also flourished with the former coach of the mens and womens national hockey team Maharaj Krishna Kaushik, former captain of the national womens hockey team, Preetam Siwachand national womens teams midfielder, Mamta Kharba.
Jude Felix Hockey Academy, Bengaluru
Jude Felix Hockey Academy (JFHA) is a non profitable hockey academy in India and it is managed by the Charitable Trust. Jude Felix Hockey Academy (JFHA) is a non-profit organization started in January 2009 by Olympians, Former International and National players to cultivate the game of hockey amongst the underprivileged children of our country and to develop new talent for the game.
Chandigarh Hockey Academy, Chandigarh
Chandigarh Football Academy was conceived and inaugurated by H.E., Lt. Gen.J.F.R. Jacob, PVSM (Retd.), by the then Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh on 7th August 2000, Chandigarh Football Academy also provides training to the players for both football and hockey. It has 24 inmates in the age group of 9-10 years were admitted in it. On completion of terms of 7 years, the trainees were passed out in March 2007 immediately after the annual examination of their respective classes.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Academy, Punjab
Amritsar Hockey Club or Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Academy is a hockey academy formed with an association with Spring Dale Educational Society. Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Academy was launched as a world class hockey academy for boys under 14 and 17, under 19 years of age. This project is the brainchild of Late Dr. Shivinder Singh Sandhu and Balwinder Singh Shammi, Director Amritsar
Hockey Club, Sukminder Singh Mann, Chairman. 526 students from all over Punjab appeared for the screening test involving mental and physical endurance tests. After preliminary trials nearly 100 boys were short-listed whom a committee comprising of S. Hardip Singh Dhillon IPS Secretary Punjab Hockey Association, Olympian, Jugraj Singh and Prabhjot Singh then screened. Based on merit finally 60 boys were selected.
