Vijaya Kumar is an Indian shooter who has received the Arjuna Award 2006.

Vijaya KumarVijaya Kumar, the 21-year-old Himachal Pradesh lad, is an Indian Shooter. Vijaya Kumar hails from Harsaur village of Hamirpur district, located near the shrine of Baba Balak Nath at Deotsidh.Vijay`s father Banku Ram is a former soldier.

At the 2006 Commonwealth games he is the winner of two gold medals in the Men`s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol. Vijaya Kumar has the credit of winning 24 gold, 8 silver and 24 bronze in different national shooting events. In the 2010 Asian Games he won the bronze medal with a total of 680.4. In the Common Wealth Games 2010, Vijay brought 2 gold medals in the 125m rapid fire pistol event. Vijaya Kumar made a games record of 787.5 points.

Vijaya Kumar has received the Arjuna Award 2006.
