
Sis Ram Ola is the current member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India. He represents
Rajasthan Jhunjhunu constituency and is a member of the
Indian National Congress. During 15th
Lok Sabha elections campaign BJP was not able to find a suitable candidate in his opposition, hence his win was more or less clear from the beginning.

In 1952, as a social worker he started girl`s education in a remote area in rural Rajasthan with three girls. He named the school after
Indira Gandhi "Indira Gandhi Balika Niketan Ardawata". His attempt was undoubtedly a result oriented one as it brought
Jhunjhunu district, during 1952-96, to third place in literacy. He was conferred
Padma Shree Award for social service in 1968.
