Her character in the former serial was that of a typical modern woman stuck in an eternal tug of war of choosing between what she wants and what others want her to be. She is just a young girl who wants to be herself and enjoy life. But her character portrayal in the later one is more close to her heart as she is as focused and independent as she is in her real life as well. She has the guts to go ahead and do whatever she wants to in her life.

Failure for her is completely irrelevant and the most important part of her life it the urge to try harder. She feels that people sympathize and empathize with both these sort of characters and that is what eggs her on to excel. She also believes that the international presence of Zee Television has given them tremendous mileage. In the silver screen also this talented actress tried to make a mark but without much success. She did a cameo in the Bollywood movie Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. She had also done music videos for Stereo Nation and Qurban Remix.

In the recent past she also did a video for a song called Punjab for the album `Karunesh`. She also tried her hands at comedy by acting in an MTV spoof on Fully Faltoo. She was also one of the participants in the celebrity dance show Jhhalak Dikhlaja in the year 2006. She is also looking forward to get some good film offers.
