Salman Khan was born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on 27th December 1965, in Indore

. He is the eldest son of celebrated screenwriter Salim Khan and his wife Salma Khan (Sushila Charak). Salman has two younger brothers Arbaaz Khan
and Sohail Khan and two sisters Alvira and Arpita. The yesteryear Bollywood cabaret dancer Helen
is step-mother of the renowned Bollywood actor. Salman Khan completed his schooling from St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai and from The Scindia School in Gwalior State

Charitable Activities of Salman Khan
Salman Khan has established an NGO named Being Human that focuses on supporting the underprivileged and deprived citizens in the country. The establishment aims to sell watches, T-shirts and other products in stores and also online, in order to obtain finance for their operations.
Personal Life of Salman Khan
Salman Khan has been engaged in several charity events and activities through out his career. In the year 2004, the People magazine, US voted him as the best looking man in India and the seventh-best-looking man in the world. Salman Khan also had his life-size wax figure installed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum London on 15 January 2008. Through out his career, Salman has been linked with several co-actors, the most renowned relationships being with actress Aishwarya Rai
and Katrina Kaif
. His long and serious relationship with Katrina Kaif ended in 2010. Salman ahs also been part of several controversies and has been imprisoned multiple times for various cases.
In August 2011 it was revealed by the actor that he suffers from trigeminal neuralgia, which is a facial nerve disorder, also known as the suicide disease.
