Riva Bubber is a television actress who has acted in many popular serials. She was born to Ruby Babbar on 15 July 1980 in Mumbai. Born in a Panjabi family Riva is the youngest of three children. She has two elder brothers married with kids. One of her brother resides in the United States while the other one in Mumbai. She began her career as a model and has endorsed many popular brands such as Ponds, Cadbury and Sunsilk, Camlin, Rin, Pantene, Maruti, Johnson & Johnson, BPL and many others.

. Riva made her debut in the youth oriented serial `Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr` where she portrayed the role of a next door girl, Nikita (Nikki Sharma). Riva received positive reviews from the directors and audience for her acting skills. Her success led her to appear in one of the most popular serials `Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` in STAR Plus. In the serial she portrayed the character of the eldest daughter in law, Damini Virani. Riva Babbar has also appeared in other serials like `Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat` and `Kkavyanjali.` She also acted as Smriti in `K. Street Palli Hill` also under the Balaji Productions. In another popular serial, `Ayushmaan` which was aired in Sony TV Channel she played the role of Ayushmaan`s wife.

Riva Babber has won many awards for her role in the serial `Kyuki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.` In the Star Parivaar Awards she consecutively won the Favourite Jethani awards for two years.
