The glamorous lass Neha Bamb have just hit the small screen with only two shows in her kitty. While it takes some, years to establish themselves, this extremely talented artist has carved out a niche for herself in the heart of her fans by the innocent and simple look which she portrayed in her first telly show Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai under Balaji Productions.

She made her debut on television by this serial and paired opposite Iqbal Khan as the simple and innocent lover. She enticed her fan following with unparalleled grace and charm. This immensely talented actress was born on 9th May, 1985 in the city of Mumbai and brought up here itself. She originally hails from a Madwadi family, which belongs to Jodhpur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. She is brought up in a well to do family along with one brother and one sister. She completed SYMCom from Podar College. She also pursued a month`s acting course from Hyderabad University. Her favorite hobby includes photography. For practicing such a hobby she also stated a particular reason. As she stays in front of the camera most of the time, that is the instrument which has caught her fancy and makes her reach the common people so she is fond of the camera and likes to learn every aspect about its operation. She likes to sport a tee shirt and a pair of denims on a regular basis. She is well versed in Hindi and English. Her favorite author is Sidney Sheldon. Her favorite fragrance is Channel 5.

The personal life of Neha Bamb also reflects a happy picture. By the end of the year 2007 she will leave her parental home and settle for marital bliss with her college sweetheart Rishi Zaveri. About her life partner her remark is that she wants a very simple man with simple thinking and expects only two things from her partner, the first one is that he has to have lots of sense and the second quality that she would like to have in her partner is that he would have to pamper her a lot. One the sets she jells up very well with both her co-stars Iqbal Khan and Amit Tandon.

In fact they are her favorite co-stars even. The latter is the one who is more close to her as a friend and they put up with more fun together. About life she believes in the simple idea of working hard and partying harder. About relating her screen presence with her personal life she is a bit apprehensive, as she believes that she is not a complete traditional package. She is also not interested in the lives of other people around her as her character is always found to be. And then again she wears salwar kamees on very special occasions unlike her character of Mahi who is always found wearing a salwar suit on a regular basis. She wears a plait in her reel life whereas in her real life she prefers to sport her hairs open.

The character portrayal of Neha Bamb in `Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai` has won the young and old alike. She remarks that she bagged this role by a sheer coincidence. Her pictures were with an agency and from there it was given to Ekta. The latter liked her pictures and called her for an audition and soon after she got selected. In this serial she plays the role of the main protagonist and is also the love of the famous rock star Angad (played by Iqbal Khan). She faces a lot of adversities in her reel life and finally gets united with her love.

At present she is playing the character of a lovable daughter named Maahi in the popular tele-soap Maayka. She portrays the most dedicated daughter of Brij Malhotra and Mohini Malhotra in this serial and to save her parents from misfortune gets married to a rich lad. In her in-laws place also she goes through mental turmoil and in the course of a blast looses her parents and other family members. The serial continues to focus on the conflicts of her life and shows her determination to overcome the same. At present she is happy with her shows on television and has not decided anything about her future. She has also got a couple of film offers in her kitty but at present she wants to focus on her daily shows. This popular actress has also appeared in a couple of South films. About her shooting schedules she is quite in order. Switching over to television from the films of South has been a bit difficult for her. In the south they used to begin shooting early in morning and pack up by 6p.m.

The unit of south used to strictly follow the schedule. She has been so used to that schedule that she found it difficult to cope up with the erratic working hours of the television. She also fainted twice on the sets after shooting for an exhaustive span of three days and three nights. Presently she works 28 days a month and the shift is never extended beyond 12 hours. Moreover the traffic of Mumbai makes it difficult for her to reach the various locales in which the shooting takes place. But she is still happy to pay the price that her career demands as her passion lies in acting.

Switching over to a new production house with her new on screen character of Mahi also has not made much of a difference in her life. For her the only thing that has changed is the people who are going to make the payments. Other than that she is very happy with her new project and the unit still treats her as a kid. She is yet to try her luck in Bollywood. As of now she was into a bit of modeling and also appeared in a few films of the South. She still holds the image of a school kid. After maturing a bit both by her age and experience she would proceed towards making a mark in the Bollywood. This versatile actress is yet to excel herself in the world of acting but as of now her fans expect her to woo them by her extraordinary simplicity and superb acting skills.
