Chhapar , Rajasthan

Chhapar is a city in Churu district of Rajasthan and has a municipality, which looks after the local administration. Perched at a height of 302 meters (990 feet) above sea level it is located at latitude of 27.82° North and longitude of 74.4° East.

According to the 2001 census report, Chhapar had a population of 17,855.Males comprises 51% of the population and females 49% of the population .19% of the population is under six years of age .The region has an average literacy rate of 55% which is lower than the average national standard of 59.5%.Male literacy rate is 65% and female literacy rate is 46%.
