Anuj Saxena shot to fame with his portrayal of the character of Abhay in the popular Balaji television soap `Kkusum.` He is a doctor by profession. He studied medicine at Grant Medical College in Mumbai and is now the Managing Director of Elder Healthcare. Apart from being a doctor he is also a producer and owns the Maverick Productions that makes films and TV commercials. His esteemed enterprise has masticated more than 20 advertising films and one game show titled `Khiladi No.1` on the popular channel Zee smile. He also owns a Chinese and Indian restaurant in Andheri by the name Blue Waters.

He shot to fame when Ekta Kapoor offered him the role of the male protagonist in the serial `Kkusum.` Tall now he acted in overall 11 serials. He has also acted in a movie `Kab Tak.` This film is a story of five friends and is set in the backdrop of the 1993 riots. His production house has produced two low budget movies `Aloo Chat` and `Chase` in which he played the lead role opposite Udita Goswami
