Badepalle, Andhra Pradesh

Badepalle is a town in Mahbubnagar district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Mahabubnagar District, situated in Andhra Pradesh in India, has its headquarters at Mahabubnagar. The population of the district is 3,513,934. 10.57% of the people live in urban areas. Significant towns of this district include Gadwal, Wanaparthi, Achampet, Kalwakurthy, Jadcherla and Nagarkurnool. Small mountains surround the city of Mahboobnagar, also known as Palamooru. The tourist attractions include Srisailam, Koilsagar Dam, Pillalamarri, Alampur temple and Priyadarshini Jurala Project at Gadwal.

Badepalle`s population is 29,822 according to the 2001 census. Males comprise 51% of the total population and females 49%. The average literacy rate is 67%, which is above the national average of 59.5%. 57% of the males and 43% of females are literate. Children below six years of age comprise 13% of the population.
