Amrita Bindu Upanishad speaks of human mind and soul. There are two types of minds: pure and impure. The impure mind is possessed of desire and the pure is something that has no desire. Mind is considered as the cause of men's bondage and liberation. The mind is attached to sense-objects that lead to bondage.
The mind should always be free of desire. Till the mind gets merged with the heart it should be controlled. It is neither to be thought of nor worthless to be thought of. One should practice concentration on Om through its letters and meditate without regard to its letters. Finally when one realizes with this letter, the idea of emptiness is attained as entity.
Brahman is without component parts, without doubt and without any taint.
Brahman without doubt is endless, beyond reason and analogy. There is no control of mind. The universal soul is prevalent in all beings. Om is the Supreme Brahman. A wise man should meditate on that imperishable Brahman.
