Shivaji Satam`s protagonist role in C.I.D was commendable. No one can think of his leaving the project. A.C.P Pradyuman character is the only reason of increasing the serial C.I.D`s TPR. From last eight years it is steadily catching its audiences. Every Friday night, people are anxiously waiting for what would be the new story today.

Shivaji Satam is a very good friend of B.P.Singh, who is the producer of the serial C.I.D. From the beginning Sivaji was his first choice for the role of A.C.P. From very first it was the instinct gut feeling of Shivaji,that C.I.D will be popular and will go a long ahead.

Shivaji Satam never thought of becoming an actor. But he agreed that, from childhood he was fascinated towards it. He didn`t take any training for acting. His acting started in spontaneously during Ganesh Festivals. At that time in local areas they have showing different plays. In one play noted Marathi stage director Bal Dhuri have seen him and had offered a role in musical play called `Sangeet Vardaan`. Initially he was not showing interest, because he has to act as a substitute. Shivaji`s friends forced him to do acting.

cFrom then his acting career had started, he has not only don several plays and television serials in both Hindi and Marathi language but also acted in movies.But never tasted this much of popularity, which he is receiving now by C.I.D. Still now he remembered one incident. On his birthday one small kid had gifted him a hand made card and wished him as ` Happy birth day A.C.P Uncle`. Shivaji was very much surprised and thrilled by kids love.

Shivaji loves cricket very much. In his free periods, he loves to mingle with friends, party etc. but in home he loves to watch Marathi plays and films. Among his performed plays in Savitri, Mahasaagar, Khandobache Lagin, and Swapna Gaane Sample he had done noticiable acting. Hu Tu Tu, Daag -The fire, Kurukshetra, Ghulam-E-Mustafa, Nidaan, Yashwant, Yug Purush, Vaastav, China Gate, Jis Desh Main Ganga Rehta Hai, Taxi number 9 2 11 etc are few among his several films.

For his latest play `Dhyanni Mani he received State Best Actor Award. Shivaji was nominated twice for Best Screen Actor Award for Ghulam-E-Mustafa and Nidaan.
