Shivaji Satam has gained much popularity in the small screen with his role of A.C.P Pradyuman in C.I.D.

Shivaji Satam aka A.C.P Pradyuman Shivaji Satam is a renowned actor in the small and in the big screen. During his college days he performed in various acts and plays. He came into limelight with his role of Hambirao in Goa Hindu Association`s popular stage play `Raigadala Jenvha Jaag Yete`. While working in the Central Bank of India he participated in various inter bank competitions. His other performed plays in Savitri, Mahasaagar, Khandobache Lagin, and Swapna Gaane. Shivaji rose to fame with his role of ACP- Pradyuman in the serial C.I.D. on Sony TV Channel. The soap has set a record of being the longest running serial based on crime investigation.

Shivaji has also acted in movies. He made his debut in films through Kamlakar Torne`s `Kaiwari`. He acted in his first serial `Ek Shoonya Shoonya` directed by his friend B.P Singh. Shivaji has a long list of Hindi and Marathi films to his credit. Some of them include Hu Tu Tu, Daag -The fire, Kurukshetra, Ghulam-E-Mustafa, Nidaan, Yashwant, Yug Purush, Vaastav, China Gate, Jis Desh Main Ganga Rehta Hai, Taxi number 9 2 11, Nayak and many others. The actor has also acted in two English movies, English August and Split Wide Open. His son Abhijeet has launched a production house called Alpha-Lyra which is now producing Marathi TV serials.

Awards and Honours of Shivaji Satam
Shivaji has been awarded the State Best Actor Award for his commendable performance in the play Dhyanni Mani. He has been honoured with The Maharashtra State Best Actor Award for his performance in the Marathi film `Ek Hoti Vadi`. Shivaji was nominated twice for Best Screen Actor Award for Ghulam-E-Mustafa and Nidaan.
