Khwaish is long awaited story of Ekta kapoor. She always wished to do a serial on Muslim Culture. And today she was able to do it. This is the story of a young girl, Afreen, in whose shoulder all the family responsibilities are leis. Because her elder brother is separated from family and her father is forced to retire.

Priya Ashok Bhatija is the new leading lady of Ekta Kapoor for the serial `Khwaish` aired on Sony Entertainment Channel. Her debut role was a small role in `Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi`.

Syed Yasir Khan
Yasir khan is playing the role of Azaan. The second lead role in the serial. Yasir is a Pakistani model and actor. Ekta is happy that, Yasir is quite familiar with the shooting schedules, so acting brings great fun with all.

Anju Mahendru
This actress is the quest of poet and lyricist Kaifi Azmi. She is the actress of seventies, born on 11th January. She had never got any lead role, always done the character roles. She acted in very few movies during eighties. Again she came back in 1990, but this time she started her career in Television. She has done number of serials, which gave her name and fame rather than film industry. Now side by side acting, she engaging herself in social works and taking care of her plants.
