Atul Kasbekar"The confidence in front of the camera radiates through your eyes"- Atul Kasbekar Atul Kasbekar is one of the top advertising photographers in India today. He specializes in media, film and fashion photography. A graduate from the Brooks University of Photography in Santa Barbara, Atul was trained for over a year in Los Angeles, working with photographers as Dennis Gray, Ron Slenzak, James B Wood, Jay Silverman, Jay P Morgan, Bill Werts and D avid Le Bon. He returned to India in the year 1990 and started his own studio called Negative Space in Bombay. With his work featuring in magazines like Time, Cosmopoliton and Elle he has also shot five editions of the coveted Kingfisher Swimsuit Special Calendar: France (2007), Australia (2006), South Africa (2005), Thailand (2004), Mauritius (2003). He is also a part of the visiting faculty in one of the leading photography schools in India. He is the chairman of the Photographers Guild of India (PGI), a body that is working towards improving the way photographers work in India. He is one of the most renowned photographers in the industry. Having shot possibly all the celebrities in Bollywood he is one of the most sought after photographers in the industry.
