Ingredients:
2 cups rice
1 cup black gram
1 tablespoon refined edible oil
Salt to taste
Method:
Soak rice and black gram (skinless) in water for about 4 hours.
Then grind the rice and black gram to a fine paste. Add salt to it.
Then add water to get a batter and whip well.
Heat a non stick frying pan on medium flame.
Spread a little oil on the pan.
Lower the flame.
Take the batter in a big spoon and spread the batter on the pan in a round shape, like a dosa or an omelette.
Turn the pitha upside down and take it out carefully
Make as many pithas as require by following this method.
Grease the surface of pan with edible oil once every after two or three pithas.
Serve with dalama or coconut chutney.
