The event features the congregation of various Bollywood personalities and noted luminaries who celebrate the works and achievements of Indian cinema with dazzling performances and award presentations. Zee Cine Awards is the property of the entire Zee network. In the ceremony, awards are presented under different categories to venerate the works of film personalities in different fields.

14th Zee Cine Awards
14th Zee Cine Awards was held in the year 2014 on 8th February in Mumbai to commemorate the best films of the year 2013. It was aired on 23rd February on multiple channels. Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh served as co-anchors for the event. In the year 2013, the Hindi film industry presented some of the great films creating a tough competition in this category of awards. The nominations for Zee Cine Awards 2014 included the movies Aashiqui 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Chennai Express, Dhoom 3, Goliyon Ki Rasleela: RamLeela and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The award was won by the movie Chennai Express.

Chennai Express is a Bollywood action comedy flick starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film was produced by Gauri Khan under the direction of Rohit Shetty. The film broke several records in India as well as abroad. As per the records of the Box Office India, the movie ranks as the second highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide.
